Another day, another interview...

I was fairly depressed this morning as the discovery of some little furry houseguests was not at all pleasant. It looks like they are travelling through the radiators of the building. Disney's spokesperson aside, mice do represent a sort-of rundown/hopeless state of mind.

But then, I got an call from another job I applied for. It's for a film library (affiliated with the festival and the cinema where I saw all those foreign and silent films this summer). Fairly short term at least on paper, but it would be great experience. My interview is scheduled for next Wednesday.

So, it's not a terrible day after all.

That job sounds really interesting. Good luck with the interview!

We have mice occasionally in our house. They come up through the floorboards. We have a humane trap and put them back in the nearby park.

Sorry I haven't been in touch - came back from holiday and work has been crazy. Term starts next week and everything is at top speed for the next few weeks. And I've been trying to do some archery which is also taking up time.

I'm sorry about the mice, but that's great news about the job interview! :-) I think working for a film library would be fascinating. It would certainly be great experience, as you say. I hope it works out!
