Good news, bad news....

Bad news -- well, those who know about my personal life. Things aren't going that well. Or maybe they are. I guess it depends on your perspective.

Anyway, today was supposed to be my last day at work. Instead I'm getting a short-term contract until the end of the year in a different department, with a salary increase, a new job title and more interesting (but harder) duties. And I'll be away from the stupid office politics on this floor. I'm sure there are some on my new floor, but it doesn't sound as extreme as here.
