Things to do with a time machine...
Inspired by Rusty's comments...
Okay, besides time travelling back and solving some historical mysteries (proving once and for all that Shakespeare the playwright really was the glover's son from Stratford and those who say otherwise are elitist jerks), maybe "righting what once went wrong" (the whole anti-free will mission statement of Quantum Leap), and making some sound financial investments -- if I had a time machine, I'd go back to 1832 and a small village near the border of County Tyrone and County Armagh to ask my ancestors a few simple questions. "Are you insane? If you're going to travel across the ocean - why settle in a frozen wasteland?"
Sure, asking such questions might erase me from the timeline, but then most people who read this stopped caring about my temporal existence about 9 months ago.
