Grrr... Argh!
Jun. 7th, 2006 09:52 amMaybe I'm just in a pissy mood because my best friend is in the hospital, but...
Does Toronto actually have by-laws? Or did I just dream them?
During the walk to work this morning, I was nearly run over by several cyclists. Cyclists who are moving faster than the cars on the road. Cycling is a great activity. It is certainly better for the planet than driving cars. Cyclists are allowed to feel morally superior.
But the traffic laws still apply to them. So, unless you're 8 years old - stay off the bloody sidewalk!
Also, leash laws. I can understand dog owners not understanding the subtleties of what is and isn't an off-the-leash area in High Park. And owners absolutely need to let their dogs run free from time to time.
But really, a dog off the leash at Bloor and Spadina? In the middle of rush hour? I feel sorry for the dog that's got such a stupid and irresponsible owner.
